What you can check from abroad.
Secure remote access to the things that matter most when you can't be there. It needs the home's internet connection; the automations themselves run inside the home and, where supported, keep working locally if the connection drops.

You won't be left with a box of gadgets and a family trying to make them work. We install, configure and hand over the system to the people living in the home, and stay available for support, troubleshooting and changes. TuMu Smart is based in Cebu; for homes elsewhere, we agree up front how installation and ongoing support will work.
Common questions from families abroad.
What happens if the internet goes down?
We design for local-first operation wherever it's practical. Your system is controlled by a hub inside your home, so automations, local controls and camera detection can keep working without the internet when a reliable local option exists. Checking in from outside the home does need an internet connection.
Are my cameras and my family's privacy safe?
We prefer local processing over vendor cloud services wherever a reliable local alternative exists — for example, camera detection can run on local AI inside your home. Remote access is set up securely. During your consultation we'll explain exactly how your cameras, alerts and remote access work.
Can I monitor my home from abroad?
Yes, when the home has a working internet connection and secure remote access is set up. You can then check supported cameras, doors, water and power from overseas. Remote access and local automation are different things: automations run inside the home and can keep working when the internet is down, but checking in from abroad needs that connection.
What happens after installation?
TuMu Smart isn't a one-time installation. After commissioning and handover, optional TuMu Care provides ongoing support and system assistance, and we can expand your system as your home evolves.
Do you serve homeowners outside Cebu?
TuMu Smart is based in Cebu and welcomes enquiries from homeowners in other parts of the Philippines. We assess each project individually — the property, what you'd like to achieve, and the installation and ongoing support arrangements it needs.
